Ember & Root Homeschool Enrichment
Designed to support homeschooled learners, E&R is a drop-off enrichment program designed to complement your child's educational journey—not replace it.
We’re not a class, school, or a tutoring center. Instead, Ember & Root’s Homeschool Enrichment Program is a learner-driven space where kids can explore what excites them, follow their curiosity, and grow as independent thinkers. We offer time, support, and thoughtfully curated materials that stretch learning and help each child pursue meaningful personal goals—on their own terms.
This is a program for the makers, the dreamers, the tinkerers, the researchers, the crafters, and the wildly curious kids who want time to learn and grow in what's interesting to them.
When & Where
We meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM, September through May in Fayetteville, AR.
What to Expect
-
A softly structured, interest-driven environment with time to play, build, design, and dive deep
-
Personalized support and curated tools, materials, and resources to support learner’s goals and passions
-
Encouragement to explore new ideas, reflect on progress, and stretch their skills in creative ways
-
Small group community with caring facilitators and lots of age-mixed collaboration
-
A flexible, cozy indoor/outdoor space that supports movement, creativity, and comfort
What We’re Not
Ember & Root does not provide formal instruction in core subjects like reading or math. However, through exploration, project-based work, and creative play, children naturally build skills in literacy, numeracy, collaboration, and problem-solving. At Ember & Root, we will stretch student learning to academic learning, but at the learner's pace and through their interest.
Who This Is For
-
Homeschoolers or learners with flexible daytime schedules
-
Kids who love inventing, creating, questioning, or skill building
-
Learners who enjoy freedom and ownership in their day
-
Families looking for a small, fun space where their child can thrive socially and creatively
A Note on Fit
We work hard to maintain a safe, positive group culture. While we welcome diverse learners and learning styles, we are not equipped to support persistent behaviors that may disrupt the group or require intensive individual support. If needed, we’ll collaborate with families to ensure Ember & Root is the right fit.
