Ember & Root is a unique learning space rooted in community. Because we keep our group intentionally small, space is limited—and we do our best to ensure each learner and family is a great fit for our program and community.

If you think your child would thrive in a space where they are trusted, respected, and empowered to explore what matters most to them, we’d love to hear from you!

To ensure a nurturing, small-group experience, our programming is application-based. We welcome families whose values align with our learner-led approach and who are seeking something more intentional than standard care.

While Ember & Root strives to be an inclusive and welcoming space, we recognize that we are not equipped to support behaviors that may pose a safety risk or significantly disrupt the experience of others. If a learner requires more specialized support than we can provide, we will work with families to determine if Ember & Root is the right fit for their needs.

Child's Age

Ember & Root accepts children ages 7-14 years old. We work to have keep our population multi-age to support our vision for cross-age learning.

Current Group Needs

Serving an diverse group of learners requires we take the individual needs of each child into account to ensure a safe and supportive setting.

Spaces Available

To keep ratios low, each session is limited to specific number of learners.

An inclusive space for homeschoolers to lean into independent exploration with academic subjects connections.
